spring 26′ accessory trends
Trend #1 | Pendant Necklaces
Long, layerable, and ultra chic, pendant necklaces will effortlessly elevate every outfit this spring. I used to wear and suggest long pendant necklaces all the time and …then, as fashion does, they disappeared for a while. Now they’re back—and I’m so happy about it. What do you think?
They really do add so much to even the simplest outfits. Take a basic white or brown top pictured above for example—add a long pendant necklace and suddenly you’ve got instant polish and glam.

Trend #2 | Shield Sunglasses
I recently talked about some of my current favorite sunglasses right here that are more slim profile, Matrix-style chic. But another major accessory trend for spring 2026 is sporty, shield sunglasses.
They’re bold. Oversized. Unexpected. And maybe, just maybe, the trend you’re going to fall in love with this season.
From designer to affordable, I’ve linked several options below for every budget.

Trend #3 | Bangle Bracelets
Bangles are BACK! Honestly, I wasn’t as excited about this particular trend at first… I move around a lot, I don’t love the clanking. I also have smaller wrists and find that most bangles are ginormous for me. But, what I discovered is that many of them come in sizes. Yay! And, they are also quite fun and easy. You don’t need to think a whole lot about your outfit, simply add a couple bangles (or any of the statement accessories in this post) and voila…you’re done!
Above you see a wooden/resin stack on the left and a gold/lucite small stack on the right. Both are glam and gorge, but definitely have a different vibe. Which one feels more like you??

Trend #4 | Silk Scarves
This next accessory trend for Spring 2026 is a true timeless classic. While silk scarves are always “in,” this season they’re having a major moment.
The most current way to wear one? Fold it into a triangle and tie it around your waist as a belt. It’s a simple styling trick that can instantly transform even your most basic outfits. Try adding a silk scarf to elevate essentials like a crisp white button-down or a classic black top and jeans.
You can also take a page out of Carolyn Bessette Kennedy’s style playbook and wear one in your hair (pictured above). Both options add a touch of unexpected sophistication and polish. (BTW, for some Carolyn summer style inspo, read this post next. And, if you want some of her go-to style staples, check out this CBK capsule post.)
If wearing scarves feels slightly outside your comfort zone—that’s the beauty of fashion. Small style risks like this are an easy way to refresh your look and often inspire more confidence in your everyday life.
I dare you to try one. ✨

Trend #5 | Statement Belts
Bold statement belts with dramatic shapes, Western buckles, sculptural design details, and wider widths are everywhere right now. Maybe you already have a wide, bold belt in the closet that you put away a few years ago? Well, it’s time to bring it back out and rock it this season. A belt helps to define your waist in an instant, and perfectly completes an outfit.

Trend #6 | Silver Jewelry
Last on the list of accessory trends for Spring 2026, is silver jewelry. Many of you have likely already been wearing silver tones, because I’ve always told you to wear whichever jewelry tone feels best to you (silver or gold) but gold has really dominated the jewelry scene for the past decade.
But, silver is slowly coming back and after years and years of gold, feels cool, edgy, and very of the moment.
And, yes, you can mix your metals. It helps to have an “anchor” piece that already has both silver and gold paired together, but I promise you that they work together just fine. No stress!

simple style updates
To quote Ferris Bueller, “I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again.” Do NOT try every trend. Instead, experiment with the ones that genuinely excite you and feel fun.
Accessories are one of the easiest ways to elevate your everyday looks. They’re low-risk, incredibly versatile, and have the power to completely transform even the most basic outfit.
If any of these accessory trends caught your eye, I hope you’ll give them a try this season. Sometimes, the smallest style risks create the biggest ripple effect—not just in your wardrobe, but in how confident you feel every single day.
