Matlock is returning for a second season in a few weeks, and CBS just revealed the first look photos from season 2, episode!

The ep is titled “The Before Times,” and the stills feature an interesting omission.

The series stars Kathy Bates as Madeline “Matty” Matlock, Skye P. Marshall as Olympia Lawrence, Jason Ritter as Julian, David Del Rio as Billy Martinez, Leah Lewis as Sarah Yang, and Beau Bridges as Senior.

However, one of the stars is absent from these photos.

Here’s the synopsis of the episode: Matty questions the paternity of the man claiming to be Alfie’s father. Also, the team takes on an arson case while Olympia tries to protect Julian’s involvement in the Wellbrexa case.

The series returns to CBS on Sunday (October 12).
