Terrie McEvoy gets emotional as she holds baby boy for first time

Terrie McEvoy has welcomed her second child with her husband, David Fitzpatrick.

The couple announced earlier this year that they were expecting baby number two before revealing that they would be adding a baby boy to their family.

And now their little one has made his appearance.

Sharing black and white pictures of the proud parents with their son in the hospital, Terrie wrote: “He’s here!!!!! The missing piece to our puzzle and all 8Ibs 9oz of him!

“Our hearts are ready to burst!! Mammy, Daddy, Sydney and Jake love you so much baby boy!”

We don’t know baby boy’s name just yet but we’re sure it will have a beautiful meaning to it.

“so so happy for you all! These pics,” Louise Cooney wrote.

“Ahhh massive congrats guys,” Carl Mullan added.

“Aw congratulations to you all,” Dominique Nugent said.

Terrie then shared the emotional moment that she held her son for the first time.

“Holding my son for the first time but feeling like we had met before was one of the strangest but most surreal moments of my life,” she wrote.

“I never ever wanted this moment to end.”

While husband, David, shared his own emotional moment. He shared a video of Terrie holding their baby boy at the window of the hospital while proud dad David stood outside.

“What I wouldn’t give to share this moment with me mam,” he wrote.

“Finally got my little boy.”

David’s mother sadly passed away in 2018.
