Robert Irwin Confirms He's Single & Reveals What He's Looking For in a Relationship

The 21-year-old conservationist and Dancing with the Stars competitor recently spoke to People about his love life. In the interview, Robert confirmed his single status and shared what he looks for in a girlfriend!

In the interview, Robert joked about his mother and sister both meeting their husbands in the same way.

He said, “My mom and dad met when she was this American tourist coming over to Australia, and that’s also how my sister met her husband. I’ve been saying, when is that going to happen for me?!”

Robert went on to share that he’s inspired by his parents’ relationship in more ways than just how they met. When speaking to the publication, Robert spoke about admiring his mother and the way she handled the death of her late husband, Steve Irwin.

“She is just the most brave, steadfast, determined human being I’ve ever met,” Robert said of his mother. “And to me, she is just the epitome of a great leader, a great mother, and just a hero to me because she had this life she created with dad and just had the rug pulled out from under her, but she was able to move forward with such grace and still be there for my sister and I.”

Robert continued to say that he’s hoping to find a relationship like the two of them had. He told the magazine, “So I look at my mom, I look at my dad and I’m like, that’s it. That’s who I want to be. That’s a perfect relationship.”
