Bethenny said the first competition show she received an invitation for was Celebrity Apprentice.
“I turned it down because I had just been on the Martha Stewart Apprentice. The normal one, not the celebrity apprentice. And I crushed it,” Bethenny said. She was on The Apprentice: Martha Stewart in 2005 and finished the season in second place.
Bethenny went on to share that Dancing with the Stars has invited her onto the competition series a number of times. Despite other Real Housewives stars competing on the show, Bethenny says the show “didn’t seem like the right fit” for her career.
The third competition series Bethenny says she was invited to do was The Masked Singer.
“I was going to do it because I like to sing,” Bethenny revealed in the video. She went on to explain why she decided against it, saying, “But I just didn’t think that me being in a mask for the entire competition, if I went that far, wasn’t the right fit for me.”
The reality star and business owner went on to share her thoughts on the future of her career and said, “I think it’s really important in business and in personal to be very intentional and not just do something because it sounds like a good idea. It has to actually be a good idea.”
