Rihanna welcomes third child with surprising Irish connection

Rihanna announced the arrival of her third child this week on social media.

The singer already is the proud mother to two boys – RZA and Riot – with her partner, ASAP Rocky.

But now she has welcomed her first daughter with a very unique name.

Continuing on the R name trend she opted to pay tribute to her partner and name her daughter Rocki.

However, there is a surprising Irish connection to her name.

Her full name is Rocki Irish Mayers.

How sweet!

Rihanna shared a beautiful picture of herself with newborn Rocki wrapped in a pink blanket, with the caption: “Rocki Irish Mayers, Sept 13 2025.”

Her middle name being Irish may be a nod to Rihanna’s Irish heritage.

Rihanna and ASAP Rocky will have their hands full with three under three, their eldest RZA is three while RZA is 23-months-old. Now they have an adorable little sister.

Alongside the beautiful picture of the newborn, Rihanna also shared a picture of a pair of tiny pink boxing gloves with silk ribbons.
