Brendan and Domhnall Gleeson to star in The Simpsons together
This is so exciting!
Brendan and Domhnall Gleeson are set to join The Simpsons for a very special episode.
They will appear in the beloved animated series together, for one episode, where they will voice the same character.
The father-son duo will play Mayor Quimby’s father, Joe Quimby Sr.
Brendan will play the older version while Domhnall will voice the younger version.
They will appear in episode seven of the current season, titled ‘Sashes to Sashes’, which is scheduled to air on November 16th.
So what can we expect from the episode?
“Bart runs against Mayor Quimby‘s son for student council president, while Lisa learns troubling secrets about the Quimby clan… and about the Simpsons,” the synopsis reads.
This sounds so exciting.
Of course, it’s not the first time that Domhnall and Brendan have worked together!
On the small screen, they both appeared in Frank of Ireland back in 2021. They appeared in short film, Psychic, along with Brendan’s other son, Brian.
They have appeared in films like the Harry Potter franchise, Calvary, and The Revenant as well.
Of course, The Simpson has been delighting fans for almost four decades and have no intention of stopping. A new film was announced earlier this year which is set to come out in 2027.
