Sadie Sink Confirmed to Star in Film Adaptation of 'John Proctor is the Villain' Broadway Play
Sadie Sink will be reprising her role as Shelby after earning a Tony Award nomination for her work in the Broadway play John Proctor is the Villain.
A film adaptation of the play was announced over the summer with Sadie signing on to be an executive producer, but now we’ve learned she’ll also star in the movie!

In John Proctor is the Villain, five young women – fueled by pop music, optimism, and fury – clash with their school, their Georgia town, and the stories they’ve been instructed to believe. As their class dissects The Crucible, they begin to question who we deem heroic, who we call a villain, and who gets burned in the process.
The new play, written by Kimberly Belflower, received rave reviews was nominated for seven Tony Awards, including Best Play.
Sadie will be starring in another play next year and she’s also teasing her Marvel journey.
