Robert Wagner marked a tender milestone this week, celebrating his 96th birthday just a mere three months after the 44th anniversary of late wife Natalie Wood’s death.

The Hart to Hart star appeared joyful in a set of intimate photos shared by his stepdaughter, Natasha Gregson Wagner, on her Instagram on Tuesday, February 10, per the Daily Mail.

In one sweet snap, Wagner blew out candles on two cakes while surrounded by family. Another shot showed him dining in Aspen with his 19-year-old grandson, Riley, while wearing a colorful scarf and a wide smile.

Natasha, 55, also shared a touching throwback from 1972 of their blended family, including the late West Side Story star, traveling through London, highlighting the bond they formed before tragedy struck.

Wagner, who married Wood twice and helped raise Natasha — whose biological father is producer Richard Gregson — from toddlerhood, has remained closely connected to his daughters and grandchildren through the decades.

The timing also carries emotional weight: Wood’s drowning in 1981 remains one of Hollywood’s most discussed losses, though Wagner was officially cleared as a person of interest in 2022.
