Now, it’s said that the Prince’s chief of staff and communications director, Meredith Maines, as well as the Sussex’s UK spokesperson, Liam Maguire, met with Tobyn Andreae, the King’s communications secretary.

They met up in London at the Royal Over-Seas League private members club. It is said that Tobyn appeared to bring along a gift bottle of wine, People reports.

An insider told the site, “It was a good first step. It is always better to be talking.”

While some are telling the site that it’s just a “routine professional exchange between senior communications staff who simply need to know and understand one another,” there is hope that this could be a positive step as they haven’t communicated like this lately.

“It’s a positive step. There’s optimism that it can be taken forward,” they added.

Prince Harry previously revealed a ton of private information about his family, including his sister-in-law Princess Catherine and brother Prince William.
