Jake Epstein will be back on Hallmark Channel tonight in the movie Unwrapping Christmas: Olivia’s Reunion and fans will likely want to know more about his personal life.
The 38-year-old actor is best known for his work on Degrassi: The Next Generation and he was most recently seen in shows like The Umbrella Academy and The Hardy Boys.
Jake is also a celebrated Broadway actor who has appeared in musicals like Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Spring Awakening, American Idiot, and more.

Jake Epstein is married to actress Vanessa Smythe!
Jake and Vanessa were high school sweethearts and have been together for over 20 years. The couple started dating in 2003 and got married in 2018.
The actors welcomed their son Miles into the world in May 2023.
Jake wrote about the birth, “I’m in total awe of his mama and how she is transforming into this amazing new mum before my eyes. Whatever it was that hooked me, it’s never let me go. Thank you for being my first love boyfriend who apishly tried to grind with me at school dances. Thanks for also being the guy in his 20s who I’d have a long rambly phone call with, the rest of the world falling away. Thanks maybe most of all for tying the pages of your story to the pages of mine. It’s pretty cool we get to struggle and strive through life together. Even if we don’t know what’s going on half the time. Or we break each other’s focus in our small (but loving) apartment. Yea. Vanessa is an actress who has been seen on shows like The Expanse, Designated Survivor, and Mrs. America, as well as movies like Pieces of a Woman and Trap.
