On his dream WWE matches if he could script them:
“I would do Shawn Michaels versus Ricky “the Dragon” Steamboat in a ladder match. You know what I mean. I would love to see peak Andre versus Brock Lesnar. You know what I mean. Just like a hoss match. Things like that. I would love to see an improv guy like CM Punk in a steel cage match against a guy who’s so studious like Randy Savage. They would f–king hate each other.”
On Joe Pesci intentionally trying to make him think he was mean on the set of Home Alone:
“That’s what I heard. But you know, I can see why he was kind of like oh I wanna scare the kid. I wanna be scary. I just remember kind of just sitting there and he goes how you doing kid? And I go, you know what I’m actually tired. I haven’t been home in like four or five months. He goes, I haven’t been home in three years. I was like oh I didn’t really realize this was a d–k measuring contest. But yeah, I guess you beat the 10-year-old? Joe Pesci.”
On showing his kids Suite Life so they can see their mom Brenda Song and not wanting to raise nepo babies:
“My kids have no idea that me and Brenda are famous. They see momma on TV because when she’s not around I put on Suite Life. Just saying. I say oh yeah, no I showed them some Suite Life and you know what Dak said, he goes, someday I want to grow up and marry a girl just as pretty as London Tipton. I’m like yeah yeah, yep yep. But they are thoroughly unimpressed that we’re on TV and stuff like that. I don’t want them to get mired by all that kind of stuff. I’m not intending to raise a nepo baby no matter how much they’re going to be like them, you know?”
On missing the script for Rushmore, which went to Jason Schwartzman:
“Well, you have to understand, at least then, I was retired. For at least a big chunk of that. For at least like six or seven years of that. Like just went to high school, I got married way too young, things like that you know. I was actually pretty good at reading. I was kind of vivaciously reading through the scripts. But there was a couple that slipped through. I remember about two years later kind of clearing out the house, throwing out the old scripts, and I saw the one that I didn’t read was Rushmore. I was like ah dang. I probably could have done that one. Although I can’t imagine anyone but Schwartzman doing that part. But at the same time, I was like oh man that would have been a ball and a biscuit, that one.”
On Home Alone 2 being better than Home Alone because he got paid more:
“I got paid more. I think I own five percent of the net. And also 15 perfect of the merchandising. So, if you buy a Talkboy I’m like yeah, I’ll take 15 percent of that. Thank you very much. By the way, buy a Talkboy this Christmas.”
