Roy Keane marks 54th birthday surrounded by grandchildren
Roy Keane may have a tough exterior, but when he’s with his grandchildren, it’s safe to say that he’s a big softie.
The former Ireland captain celebrated turning 54 in style, surrounded by his family.
He shared snaps of them all soaking up the sun by the pool.
The first picture in the Instagram carousel sees Roy lying on a colourful pool floatie in the centre of the pool.
He went on to share pictures of him cuddling his youngest grandchild inside as well as snaps of him at the beach with his older grandchildren.
Other photos see him in the pool with the older two.
“Happy Birthday to me. All the gifts I need,” he wrote simply.

The former Manchester United star has been married to his wife, Theresa Doyle, for almost 28 years now.
The couple share five children together, Shannon, Caragh, Aidan, Leah and Alanna. Roy became a grandfather for the first time in 2021 while the youngest baby was born earlier this year.
He was met with birthday messages from his former club Man U who shared a picture of him and wrote: “Wishing a very happy birthday to United legend, Roy Keane.”
