Tamar Braxton is on the mend after a scary accident!
The 48-year-old singer and actress revealed on her Instagram story that on Sunday (August 17), she was found “in a pool of blood” by one of her friends.
The “All the Way Home” singer and member of R&B group The Braxtons shared the details of her injuries in a statement on her Instagram story on Tuesday (August 19).

“I almost died Sunday. I was found in a pool of blood from my friend with a face injury,” Tamar revealed on her Instagram story after saying that she can barely talk and still feels weak after the scary incident.
She went on to reveal the extent of her injuries and said, “I fractured my nose, lost some teeth and mobility.”
Tamar said that she still doesn’t “know what happened” and that she’s beginning her mental health journey as she tries to focus on healing, requesting prayers for her healing from her followers. In the Instagram story, Tamar says that the incident has given her a new attitude about life.
