Lioness, the gritty CIA thriller that premiered on Paramount+ in 2023 (and dropped the Special Ops from its title), has stealthily become a global hit — and it’s now dominating two major platform, not just one.
The spy drama — which stars Zoe Saldaña as CIA operative Joe McNamara — has climbed into the Top 10 on both Paramount+ and Netflix. That’s right, the once-overlooked thriller is now sitting at #5 on Paramount+ and #9 on Netflix, thanks to its recent rollout in international markets like Australia and Canada.
