Why David Harbour Isn't Publicly Commenting on Lily Allen Breakup

David Harbour has so much going on right now: Thunderbolts is about to hit theaters in just a few weeks, Stranger Things season five has wrapped up, and his marriage to Lily Allen ended after four years earlier this year.

He hasn’t officially said anything about the end of his marriage, and now, he’s explaining why.

In British GQ, he was asked for a comment.

“I’m protective of the people and the reality of my life,” he responded. “There’s no use in that form of engaging [with tabloid news] because it’s all based on hysterical hyperbole.”

He said that adding to the discourse would only encourage “a salacious shitshow of humiliation.”

Lily and David were first linked as a couple in summer 2019 after meeting on the exclusive celebrity dating app Raya and then they got married in September 2020.
