Ailbhe Garrihy’s son Séan reaches big milestone
It’s a big week for parents around the country as little ones head off to school for the first time.
One of those parents was Ailbhe Garrihy as she saw her eldest child, Séan, head off to big boy school.
She shared the traditional picture at the front door with her five-year-old in his tiny school uniform.
“31 years later and I was still the only one crying (thanks for the reminder Mom),” she wrote.
“Go get ‘em our dotie boy.”
Ailbhe also shared a picture of herself on her first day of school. She is cuddled up with her mother crying her little heart out.

Ailbhe Garrihy announced earlier this year that she was welcoming her third child with her husband, Ruaidhrí Hehir.
She wrote: “Some light bedtime reading. Feeling so blessed to be expecting baby no.3 later this year @ruaidhrih.”
She has been keeping her followers updated on her social media as she prepares to welcome baby number three.
We’re sure Séan and Fionn will be the best big brothers to the new baby when they arrive.
