Al Calderon Joins Cast Zachary Quinto Series 'Brilliant Minds'

Al Calderon is joining the cast of NBC‘s Brilliant Minds!

The 31-year-old actor is best known for playing the role of Javi Hernandez on Days of Our Lives.

On Tuesday (July 29), Deadline reported that Al would be joining season 2 alongside Bellamy Young who was previously announced to be joining the series.

Brilliant Minds is based on the life of physician Oliver Sacks and stars Zachary Quinto as Dr. Oliver Wolf.

In the series, Dr. Oliver Wolf is a neurologist who leads a team of interns that study the human mind while trying to balance their work with their own mental health. According to Deadline, Al has been cast as Nurse Scotty Silva, a charismatic employee of Bronx General.

The first season of Brilliant Minds ended in January of this year and was renewed for a second season later in the year.
