Alison Pill & Joshua Leonard Finalize Divorce After Years of Separation
Alison Pill and Joshua Leonard have finalized their divorce.
The 50-year-old Blair Witch Project actor revealed on Instagram that he and the 39-year-old Scott Pilgrim vs. the World actress “were officially divorced a few weeks ago” after spending several years separated.
Joshua shared a throwback photo of the pair with their daughter, Wilder, writing that while “life happened to us,” they remain “A+ co-parents” and praised Alison as “one of few truly brilliant humans” he has ever met.

The couple first got engaged in January 2015 after Joshua proposed during a group hiking trip to Joshua Tree National Park. They tied the knot that May in Los Angeles and welcomed daughter Wilder Grace Leonard in November 2016.
Although their marriage has come to an end, Joshua noted that he and Alison have built a strong co-parenting relationship and are focused on raising their daughter together.
“For the sake of alacritous disclosure, and to pave a future for more aligned & transparent matters…. @msalisonpill and I were officially divorced a few weeks ago – after a few years of separation and practice. Yes, life happened to us. That’s nothing to gloat about,” he wrote.
“And YET, we’re A+ co-parents, and Alison remains one of few truly brilliant humans I’ve ever encountered. And while the best path forward may not be storybook-rote (or even ready!)… it reveals itself in stanzas – a disorienting novelty – such are the fears and wins of life.
