Are your fingers itching for battle? Then the upcoming 5-Star Raids in Pokémon GO might be just what you need. February 2025 has several exciting bosses in store, among them the still pretty rare Enamorus — this is a prime opportunity to fill a hole in your Pokédex.
Participating in Raids is simple: You can do so alone or as part of a group by using a Raid Pass at the Gym a Raid is taking place at or by using a Remote Raid Pass from any location. Remote participation will result in your Pokémon dealing less damage, though, as Niantic wants to push players toward raiding in person instead of online. That’s also why there is a limit on how many Remote Raid Passes you can use per day.

Defeating the boss of a Raid grants you items and resources such as Candies. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to catch the Pokémon that just opposed you in battle, adding a specimen to your own line-up.
