Aubrey Plaza Will Play Heidi Fleiss in Upcoming Biopic

Aubrey Plaza is taking on a new role.

The 41-year-old Parks & Rec alum produce and star in The Heidi Fleiss Story, per Variety.

She will be playing the role of the infamous “Hollywood madam,” who was arrested in early ‘90s for what was said to be the world’s largest high-end prostitution ring, leading to the implication of several politicians and other powerful figures in entertainment.

This will be the directorial debut for Leah Rachel, the creator of Netflix’s Chambers.

Rachel Sennott co-wrote the script.

The story “follows Fleiss before trial, scrambling around Los Angeles trying to blackmail and leverage various connections to get the case dropped, with the help of an aspiring young writer named Jaclyn.”

Production is set to begin in Los Angeles this year. Further casting details have not yet been revealed.
