Celebrities Who Died in 2025: Star Deaths of This Year
As 2025 unfolds, some of Hollywood’s beloved stars have died and are no longer with us, leaving behind legacies after their deaths that will continue to inspire and resonate with fans.
The deaths of MLB broadcaster Bob “Mr. Baseball” Uecker and director David Lynch were announced on January 16. A month later, it was revealed that Michelle Trachtenberg had died on February 26.
The deaths continued in March when Dolly Parton announced the passing of her husband, Carl Dean Thomas, followed by David Hasselhoff’s ex Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff on March 5.
On April 14, Dazed and Confused alum Nicky Katt’s family confirmed that he had died by suicide at 54 years old. The Vatican announced Pope Francis’s death on April 21, and Jeffrey Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre died on April 24.
