Chad Spodick Dead at 42 – 'Finding Prince Charming' Contestant Has Passed Away
Chad Spodick has sadly passed away at the age of 42.
Chad was one of 13 men who competed on the Logo reality series Finding Prince Charming back in 2016, which was hosted by Lance Bass. The series was basically a gay version of The Bachelor.
After the show’s reunion aired, Chad called out suitor Robert Sepulveda Jr. as a “fraud” and claimed that Robert tried to hook up with him after choosing another winner.
Chad‘s death was confirmed by a friend who launched a GoFundMe page to support his mom during this time.

“Our hearts are shattered as we share the devastating news of the loss of our beautiful, kind, and generous son, brother and friend Chad. His passing was sudden and heartbreaking, and we are still struggling to comprehend a world without his light,” the GoFundMe page reads.
The tribute noted, “Chad was the type of person who poured himself into others. He lifted up his friends, encouraged everyone around him to grow, to advocate for themselves, and to believe in their own worth. His love for animals was unmatched—he cared deeply for every creature, especially his four beloved dogs and his bird, Cosmo. The world was brighter with Chad in it, and those who were lucky enough to know him felt the warmth of his heart every day.”
The GoFundMe, which has raised over $13,000, will support funeral costs and living expenses for Chad‘s mom as she cares for his four dogs and bird.
“He leaves behind his mother, Felice, who is now faced not only with unimaginable grief but with the unexpected financial burden of funeral arrangements and ongoing living expenses. We are coming together as a community to support her and Chad’s animals during this incredibly painful time,” the page noted.
A cause of death is not known as of this time.
We send our thoughts and condolences to Chad‘s loved ones during this difficult time. RIP.
