Conan Gray Confirms He HAS Dated People, Says Old Interview Quotes Are Resurfacing

Conan Gray wants his fans to know that he has indeed dated people!

The “Vodka Cranberry” singer, 26, spoke out in 2022 and said that he had never dated.

“You will probably be surprised to learn that I’ve never actually dated anyone. It’s embarrassing! Dating makes me nervous,” he told GQ. “All my best friends are dating people, though, so I live vicariously through them. I’ve been heartbroken, obviously. I’ve been in love with people, but they haven’t loved me back.”

Conan had a deep heartbreak in high school from someone who “ended up destroying him” and said at the time that he was “almost ready” to be in a relationship.

“I think a lot of my anxiety around dating has come from my fear of being heartbroken again because I was so sad for so many years about the first one,” he said. “I get so freaked out by the idea of dating someone that I will drop people because I’m terrified that they’re going to hurt me.”

Well, those quotes were from 2022, not now. After people started spreading the quotes again, Conan took to TikTok to dispel rumors.

Conan responded to a comment that someone wrote saying, “Did you know he wrote Wishbone without even dating somebody?”
