The presidential campaign in Ireland is well and truly heating up.
Mairead McGuinness and Catherine Connolly are the only confirmed candidates in the race at the minute.
However, Michael Flatley has also shared his intentions of running for the president of Ireland.
And it looks like another well known face might throw his hat in the ring.

Dáithí Ó Sé told the media during a photocall for this year’s Rose of Tralee that he was thinking about the position.
“It’s something that everybody who is in the public eye or a public servant should at least think about it,” he explained.
“Just think about [running] because it is the top job in the whole country. You’re an ambassador for the country at home, you’re an ambassador for the country all around.
“You are a custodian of the Constitution…and to turn around at this point to say that I wouldn’t be interested would be wrong. Would I be interested in seven years? You just never know.”

He first expressed his interest in the position during an interview with The Times, he said: “The presidency is something I think I might be interested in down the line.”
He went on to say: “I wouldn’t be ready for it at the moment. I think being the custodian of the constitution, it takes a lot to work toward that.
“The presidency is something I think I might be interested in down the line. But I wouldn’t be ready for it at the moment. I think being the custodian of the constitution, it takes a lot to work toward that.
“People know who I am, which is a good thing. And culturally I’d be very strong, with music and being an Irish speaker. But I’m just simply not ready for it at the moment.”
