“We don’t even sleep in the same room right now anymore,” he added. “We’ve moved beyond that.”
Dierks and Cassidy – who are parents to kids Evalyn, 16, Jordan, 14, and Knox, 11 – decided to sleep separately as a way to fix drastically different sleep styles.
“We get in bed together, right? I have three pillows that have to be positioned exactly the correct way,” he explained. “I’m thinking about the process of getting to fall asleep and all of a sudden, she’ll jerk. I’m like, ‘You’ve got to be kidding me. You’re already out?’”
However, the Grammy-nominated singer insisted that he doesn’t want this sleeping situation to go on for much longer.
“There’s an extra room we have and she’ll go sleep in there,” Dierks said. “Even last night, we’re like, ‘We’ve got to get this back on track when I get off the road. We got to get back in the same room.’”
He added, “Gonna try to move her back in this year. It’s a big plan.”
Last year, this actress said that sleeping in a separate bedroom from her husband was the secret to their 40+ year marriage!
