Doireann Garrihy shares beautiful pictures of daughter
Doireann Garrihy welcomed her first child with her husband, Mark Mehigan.
The couple announced the arrival of their daughter, Rose, this week.
“Our baby, Rosie. A love like this we’ve never known,” Doireann wrote on social media.
She has now shared more snaps of their newborn.
Mark shared a picture of him and Doireann in hospital as he cradled their daughter, he wrote: “My two girls.”
Doireann posted one photo of her in labour, saying: “Rosie had quite the voyage for herself. So beyond grateful to @rotundahospital and just how minded we feel.”
Another picture saw baby Rosie in an adorable autumnal BabyGro, with Doireann saying: “Morning with my little acorn girly.”
Mark shared a snap with a BabyGro that said, “I love my Daddy,” with the comedian joking: “Rosie chose this one herself.”
He also thanked everyone for their “gorgeous messages” after welcoming their daughter.
The couple were immediately met with the sweetest messages from their pals.
Doireann’s former 2FM co-host Carl Mullan wrote: “Welcome to the world Rosie. Massive congrats to you both. Go on Mam ya superstar.”
Her Dancing with the Stars co-star Arthur Gourounlian commented: “OMG, this is absolutely stunning. Hello Rosie, welcome to the world. I can’t wait to meet you.”
Her big sister Ailbhe gushed: “The most perfect baby girl, we love you so much Rosie.”
