Emma Watson made a rare appearance in town during the 2025 Cannes Film Festival!
The 35-year-old Harry Potter star dined outside at La Bièrerie By Brasserie Du Casino on Wednesday (May 21) in Cannes, France with a group. She was joined by refugee rights activist and friend Hassan Akkad, who left the restaurant with her.
Emma and Hassan have definitely known each other for a bit, as they have been friends since at least 2023 into 2024!
As far as we can tell, this is Emma‘s first appearance at the Cannes Film Festival in 12 years! She last appeared at the festival during the premiere of The Bling Ring, where she also attended a photo call for the movie. Emma starred in the Sofia Coppola-directed film, which was released that year.
Emma has been taking an extended break from acting recently.
