With the 2024-2025 Broadway season now at an end, we’re eagerly looking forward to the 78th Annual Tony Awards next month. Here’s what we know so far about the biggest night in New York theater:
When are the 2025 Tony Awards?
The 2025 Tonys are set for Sunday, June 8 at Radio City Music Hall.
Who is hosting the 2025 Tony Awards?
Ahead of the release of Wicked: For Good this fall, Cynthia Erivo—a Tony winner in 2016 for her barnstorming performance in The Color Purple—will host the 2025 Tonys, taking over from Ariana DeBose.
“I am so proud and excited to take on this glorious honor,” Erivo said in a statement. “I am looking forward to ushering the theatre community at large through a night that celebrates the wonderful performances we have witnessed throughout the year. I hope I can rise to the occasion.”
