Georgie’s (Montana Jordan) marriage has not been easy as he tries to balance raising a young family in a less-than-ideal environment. It has been full of tensions, and Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage will finish its first season with more of those. CBS has set a two-part season finale to air on Thursday, May 15, from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. ET. In the hourlong finale, he makes two major discoveries that could shift the direction of his life. “Georgie panics when he learns that Jim (Will Sasso) is considering selling the tire store to his rival, and Mandy’s forced to confront a long-running lie,” on part one of the first season finale, “Guilt Boots.” In part two, “Big Decisions, “Tensions rise when Georgie finds out the truth about Mandy’s boss, and Georgie does all he can to buy the tire store before Jim sells it.” CBS released images from the finale, previewing these two arcs that end the season on a high note.
Since she returned to TV, Mandy has been doing well financially. Her return to that world also reunites her with a former lover who so happens to be her boss. The images below preview Maddie’s new environment as she works closely with Scott (Christopher Gorham). This is bound to create some tension between Georgie and Mandy, given how attractive Scott is and the existing history. Meanwhile, Mandy buys Georgie new boots, and while that might be a good gesture, it could be interpreted differently. As she goes to confession, Mandy might also be going through a crisis and seeks to figure some things out.
Georgie Gets the Rug Pulled Under Him in ‘Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage’ Season Finale
His new job at McAllister Tires gave Georgie the stability and vision he sought. However, Jim is considering selling the shop. Worse, he’s selling it to Fred Fagenbacher (Matthew Letshcher). Georgie has put a lot of work into bringing more business to the shop, so he invested in it. Never one to back down from a challenge, he tries to buy it before Fred takes over. However, that’s easier said than done. The mounting pressure in his personal and professional lives reminds him of his dad, and he can be seen visiting George’s (Lance Barber) grave. He also visits his mother because no one can offer advice as well as Mary, even in her unique way.
