Guide: All fireplace locations in Kingdom Come 2 Demons of Trosky quest

Once you’ve finally cleared up the misunderstanding about your and Hans’ identities in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, you’re given free rein to explore the fort in Trosky, and if you talk to the Chamberlin there, he’ll have a task for you that will take you around the whole thing. The staff at the fort seem to think that the small misfortunes they’ve suffered are down to demons that need to be ousted, even though it mostly sounds like rats and mice doing what they do best.

Still, talking to the staff will give you tasks to douse ten fireplaces on either side of the fort, and given how much of a maze the place can be, we’ve put together this guide showing where all of the fireplaces are to help you out.

Crone’s Side Fireplace Locations

The first fireplace is in the kitchen, where the food is being prepared.

From there, head up the stairs and go into the room on your left as you reach the landing, the second fireplace is in there.

Go back out to the landing and continue up the wooden stairs, then up the stone stairs on the next level. Halfway up these stairs there is a landing with a door on the left, the third fireplace is in that room.

Leave the room and keep going up the stairs and through a red door at the top of one of the towers. Turn immediately left and you’ll find yet more stairs. At the top is a small room with the fourth fireplace.

Finally, climb the set of stairs directly to your right, walk around the landing at the top, and go through the door at the back of the room, this bedroom holds the fifth and final fireplace.

Maiden’s Side Fireplace Locations

Like on the Crone’s side, the first fireplace is in the kitchen, being used to cook.

Once you’ve done that, go up the stairs in the kitchen, through to the stairs at the back of the pantry, then go through the door in front of you as you reach the top, which is where the second fireplace awaits.

On the same wall where the second fireplace is, look to your left and you’ll see another door. Go through it and you’ll find the third fireplace in that room.

Go back out the stairs you took up to this level and continue up even further, on the next level, go through the door right in front of you and you’ll find the fourth fireplace.

Turn left and go to the corner of the room where you’ll find a door leading through to another chamber containing the fifth fireplace.

Once you’ve sprinkled your water at all ten fireplaces (and dealt with the blacksmith’s prank) you can return to the Chamberlin for your reward. We’ll just have to hope that all that holy water somehow convinces the rats to back off.
