How Morgan Fairchild Is Staying Fit and Fabulous at 75 (Excl)

Soap legend Morgan Fairchild looks fit and fabulous and a source exclusively reveals to Closer how she’s thriving at 75 and keeping her calendar jam-packed while taking pride in showing the younger folk in Hollywood how it’s done.

“Morgan is back to playing Haven de Havilland on General Hospital and she’s in pre-production for a new movie that’s set to start shooting later this year. On top of that, she’s a board member of a cat rescue in Los Angeles and very active in the rescue community,” an insider exclusively tells Closer.

The actress launched her Tinseltown career as a body double for Faye Dunaway and then continued to make her mark in the 1970s and 1980s, appearing on Dallas and Falcon Crest.

She notably featured on a 2010 episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, going on to secure a 2014 role in Revenge in which she played Teresa and on Days of Our Lives with her portrayal of Angelica Deveraux.

Tipsters say the Search for Tomorrow star sticks to a regimented nutrition and fitness plan so she can stay on the move. The Texas-born performer was spotted out and about in Los Angeles this past week.

“She still exercises every day and has a personal trainer. She also follows a pretty strict low-carb diet with a lot of organic vegetables, she’s very health conscious,” sources say. “She still looks incredible; you would never guess her age if you didn’t know it.”

Morgan has a “very sunny disposition” even after going through hardship, with insiders telling Closer that “she’s actually had a very hard couple of years because her partner of 35 years passed away in 2023.”

The Ladies of the ’80s: A Divas Christmas star announced that her longtime love died on July 7 of that year while reflecting on their romance and the legacy he left behind.

“#SadNews I’m so sorry to let you know that my life partner (36 years together) & fiancé, Mark Seiler, passed away last Friday night,” she wrote via X, alongside a throwback photograph of the couple in happier times. “He’d had Parkinson’s for several years but it seems to be Long Covid that took his life after his 3rd infection,” she added. “Hold your loved ones close.”

She continued to praise the movie executive as “a warm, brilliant & very funny man” in a post shared on Instagram, confessing, “I am devastated.”

“It has been a huge heartbreak but she’s not letting it take her down,” insiders tell Closer. “She’s forged through the grief and is living the life the way she knows Mark would want her to. She is a very strong woman, she may seem like a gentle flower but she’s a force!”

Morgan previously spoke about her relationship with Mark in an interview with Closer, revealing her thoughts about walking down the aisle. “I don’t know, it’s definitely a long-term commitment and we’ve been together for a long time … so we may just leave it the way it is right now. We’re both getting older,” she said in 2020.
