Dead at 28
… After Plunging to his Death

Influencer Malik Taylor plunged 20 feet to his death in a motor vehicle accident this week, TMZ can confirm.
Concord, North Carolina police tell TMZ … they arrived at the scene of a reported vehicle accident at 7:48 AM on Wednesday and found an overturned black 2016 Nissan Rogue SUV off the roadway — at the bottom of an approximately 20-foot drop.
Taylor was confirmed dead at the scene by Cabarrus County EMS. The state Medical Examiner and the Concord Police Criminal Investigation Division responded as well and ruled out any foul play during their investigation.
Police say the Medical Examiner determined the cause of death was multiple blunt force injuries resulting from the accident.
It’s not clear what caused Taylor to lose control of his car.
Taylor’s Austin Peay State University business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi, confirmed his death the day he died and remembered him as “a light to everyone—always bringing laughter, joy and a warm smile that brightened every room he entered.”

Taylor gained fame on social media for his humorous “POV” videos and pop culture explainers. He had nearly 300,000 followers between TikTok and Instagram.

He had recently relocated from Memphis, Tennessee, to Charlotte, North Carolina because he began feeling “stagnant” in his life.
He celebrated turning 28 in early July.
