A Celebration of Style, Sisterhood, and Showing Up

This past weekend, Los Angeles witnessed something truly special, the return of The TCFStyle Brunch 2025: Our Table. Our Taste. Our Terms. Hosted at the stunning Epic Icon Center, the event brought together plus size fashion lovers, indie designers, and community leaders for a day overflowing with joy, confidence, and connection.

From the moment the doors opened, you could feel the energy, laughter, hugs, camera flashes, and an undeniable sense of pride in the air. And while the brunch was beautiful, the real magic was in the people: from our sponsors, vendors, and panelists, to the family and volunteers who made this moment unforgettable.

A Heart Full of Gratitude

Before we get into the highlights: a huge thank you to the people who made this day possible.

Our presenting sponsor, Elomi Lingerie, brought the energy, the education, and the empowerment. Their Fit Talk experience with Freddy and personal bra fittings with Molly of LiviRae Lingerie was one of the day’s biggest highlights, showing us that a great outfit truly starts with the perfect fit. Guests not only learned, they won, with Elomi bra giveaways throughout the day.

We also extend major love to our Community Sponsor, Big Fig Mattress, who gifted one lucky guest an entire Big Fig bed as a door prize!

Our heartfelt thanks go to our event planner, Ophelia of Clayhouse Branding, who turned our vision into a seamless, stylish reality, the Epic Icon Center for being the perfect canvas, and our incredible catering and bar team, James Knight Catering and Sips Low Cocktails, for keeping us fed, full, and feeling fabulous.

Family, Community, and Curves in Motion

This year hit differently. From my grandmother and great aunt showing up with radiant smiles, to Auntie G holding it down at registration with her all-star crew of volunteers, along with my mother, little sister and stepdad in tow, my heart was full. Watching my family serve alongside our TCF community reminded me exactly why this event matters.

Our vendors brought the vibe, transforming the Style Market into a celebration of size-inclusive creativity. A huge thank you to every brand that showed up and showed out:

Each brand brought its own flavor, from fashion and beauty to lifestyle and empowerment, reminding everyone that plus size style is not a trend; it’s a movement.

The Panel: “Voices at the Table”

Moderated by actress Adragiza De Los Santos, our powerhouse panel featured Suzanne of byVINNIK, Tracy Christian of Sante Grace, and Cynthia Vincent of BAACAL, who we also celebrated for her birthday!

The conversation was as bold as the women leading it, from the power of designing for real bodies to the legacy they want to leave in fashion. Each designer spoke truth to power, proving once again that when plus size women create, they change the game.

Door Prizes, Glam Bags & Curvy Karaoke

Throughout the day, guests were treated to amazing door prizes and TCFStyle Brunch 2025 gift bags filled with items from The U.B.B. Stick by Pretti Much, Good Vibes, Milani Cosmetics, Diva Day International, and more. Every bag included an assortment of beauty favorites from Mielle Organics and Bevel, making it a true moment of self-care and style.

And then… the Curvy Karaoke mic dropped. Literally.

Our Curvy Karaoke Lounge had guests belting out everything from Lizzo to Whitney. The laughter, the dancing, the off-key harmonies, it was the perfect soundtrack to an already unforgettable day.

A Toast to What’s Next

As I stood there taking it all in, family by my side, brands all around, and a community that continues to grow, I felt every emotion at once. Blessed. Grateful. Energized.

This wasn’t just brunch. It was a declaration.
We showed up, took our seat, and reminded everyone what happens when we do things on our terms.
