Is Netflix Working? App Crashes on November 26 as 'Stranger Things' Season 5 Premieres
Did your Netflix crash while trying to watch the new season of Stranger Things? Well don’t worry, you’re not alone!
At 5pm PT on Wednesday (November 26), Volume 1 of the fifth and final season of the hit season debuted on the streaming service. However, since so many people were trying to log in and watch the new episodes, Netflix temporarily crashed.
Keep reading to find out more…The service was down for about three minutes and some users are continue to still have some bugs and glitches.
Those who logged in to watch the new episodes of Stranger Things were met with an image from “Nailed It!” along with the message, “Something went wrong. Sorry, we’re having trouble with your request. You’ll find lots to explore on the home page.”
This isn’t the first time Stranger Things has caused Netflix to crash. When the final two episodes of season four dropped in July 2022, Netflix was temporarily went down for a few minutes back then too, according to Forbes.
