Joey King to Star in ‘Practical Magic 2′ With Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman

Joey King is in talks to star in “Practical Magic 2” alongside Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman.

She’s reportedly playing the daughter of Kidman’s character. Bullock and Kidman are reprising their roles as Sally and Gillian Owens, two sisters who descend from a long line of witches. In the original 1998 movie, the duo finds themselves fighting off a curse that kills the men they fall in love with. Plot details for the second film haven’t been revealed, though sources say the story is based on a later installment in Alice Hoffman’s “Practical Magic” book series.

Warner Bros. will release the witchy sequel in theaters on Sept. 18, 2026.
