Joshua Jackson & Jodie Turner-Smith Divorce Settled, But Here's What They're Not in Agreement on Yet

Joshua Jackson and Jodie Turner-Smith have settled their divorce, although they aren’t in agreement just yet.

The 46-year-old Dawson’s Creek alum and the 38-year-old Queen & Silk actress have agreed to certain terms per legal documents obtained by People.

However, the ex-couple has yet to agree on where their daughter, 4-year-old Juno, will be going to school.

The couple will use a mediator to plan a schedule for the split custody of their daughter, and Joshua will pay $2,787 in child support. There will be no monthly spousal support, but rather a lump sum, via TMZ.

Jodie claims, in other court documents, that Joshua has pushed back on a court order regarding her making the decision about where their daughter will go to school.

In the declaration, she said that she and her former husband “participated in a full-day mediation” with a judge in May 2024 and resolved their “temporary custody issues” for their daughter’s 2024-25 school year.

The two then entered “into a Stipulation and Order to resolve the issue of selection of Juno’s school,” with Jodie writing that it authorized her “to make the final decision” regarding their daughter’s education.

“As such, I have the clear authority to make the school selection in Juno’s best interest, and Josh is refusing to adhere to the terms of the Stipulation and Order and is depriving me of the right to select the school,” she further wrote.

Jodie eventually selected a school she felt “represents a stable and diverse environment where she can thrive both academically and personally,” and told her ex that she planned to enroll their daughter there in April.

After “consistent efforts to meet and confer with Josh in good faith” and while meeting together with an education consultant, Joshua “never intended to honor” the order granting her the authority on the school selection, per the documents.

His legal team “challenged my decision-making authority and objected to Juno’s enrollment” at the school and expressed “concerns about drive time,” she continued, requesting $75,000 in attorney fees over the school disagreement.

She filed for divorce in Los Angeles Superior Court on October 1, 2023, after four years of marriage. They wed in August 2019, and they later welcomed their daughter in April 2020.

Find out where Joshua now stands with former girlfriend Katie Holmes.
