HUMBE is celebrating his 25th birthday on Tuesday (November 11) with a gorgeous new song, “Morfina.”
The Latin Grammy-nominated Entropía Mexican singer-songwriter released the introspective reflection on the transcendent power of love ahead of his forthcoming studio album, DUEÑO DEL CIELO.

“‘Morfina’ is one of the simplest songs I’ve ever written. From the very beginning, it’s a very simple guitar. I used to define it a bit as folk, but it also becomes a ballad. It reaches the heart much more, sonically speaking,” he told Rolling Stone (translated to English).
The song was produced alongside his brother, Emiliano.
“When we make music, we always tend to include many elements, which is beautiful because you discover a certain artistry. We like to have a very clear understanding of the sonic curation we do when making each album. In this song, we wanted to keep it simple because the message of this song is truly powerful, strong,” he explained of their collaboration.
