Nicolas Cage Claims Sarah Jessica Parker Ghosted Him After He Met Her Mom

Nicolas Cage is reacting to Sarah Jessica Parker‘s confirmation that they dated over three decades ago.

For those who don’t know, Nicolas and Sarah Jessica played love interests in the 1992 rom-com Honeymoon in Vegas and they also briefly dated while filming the movie in summer 1991.

SJP met her now-husband Matthew Broderick shortly after that relationship and the rest is history. Nicolas has been married to current wife Riko Shibata since 2021.

More than 30 years later, Sarah Jessica finally confirmed the relationship after decades of rumors. She simply responded, “Um, yes I did,” when asked by friend Andy Cohen if they dated.

He claims that she ghosted him after he met her mom!

“I cared about Sarah, but I don’t think I passed the Mom test,” he told E! News. “I recall sitting down with her and her mother for dinner at the Russian Tea Room, and I don’t know if it was my blue Vanson Leather motorcycle jacket (which I still have) or my sinusitis, but I didn’t hear from her again.”

Matthew recently made a rare public appearance with all three of their kids.
