“how it feels listening to this song knowing that you got away,” Rachel wrote, along with a heart outline emoji.
Chappell‘s song “tells the story of the quiet heartbreak of literal and metaphorical missed romantic connections and the pain that endures through the small daily reminders everywhere,” and “captures the disorienting grief of moving on,” according to a press release.
“Somebody wore your perfume / It almost killed me / I had to leave the room,” Chappell sings on the track. “I made a promise / If in four months this feeling ain’t gone / Well, f–k this city / I’m moving to Saskatchewan.”
While Rachel calls out an ex with the song, she has happily moved on. She is currently dating one of her Evita co-stars!
