Ryan Reynolds Unveils 2025 SickKids Fundraiser Video Featuring Dodgers' Freddie Freeman


Ryan Reynolds is back with his annual holiday video in support of the SickKids Foundation, and he brought some help!

The 49-year-old Deadpool actor slipped into his signature Ugly Christmas Sweater for the new spot, produced with his company Maximum Effort. He recruited fellow Canadian and Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman, a three-time World Series champ, to join the fun.

The Dodgers may have defeated the Toronto Blue Jays in the 2025 World Series, but Freddie is happily switching sides for a good cause, spreading some festive cheer for Toronto’s beloved children’s hospital.

This marks Ryan’s seventh year supporting the campaign. Past videos have featured big names like Seth Rogen, Lynda Carter, and Michael Bublé.

Fans looking to get involved can donate through the SickKids Foundation’s website. One-time gifts made before midnight on December 24th will be matched up to $1 million by an anonymous donor. This year’s Sweater Love campaign raises funds for life-changing equipment at SickKids.
