Sean 'Diddy' Combs Request for Bail Denied by Judge Amid Wait for Sentencing

Sean “Diddy” Combs isn’t getting out of prison yet.

The 55-year-old music mogul’s legal team’s motion for bail has been denied by Judge Arun Subramanian, the judge who presided over his trial, on Monday (August 4).

The order comes a week after Diddy‘s lawyers filed a motion advocating for his release from jail ahead of his October 3 sentencing date, and filed to overturn his convictions.

He was previously acquitted on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, but he was found guilty of two lesser counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.

Prosecutors are recommending that he serve four to five years in prison, including the nearly 11 months he has spent there since his September 2024 arrest.

Find out what the President said about potentially pardoning Diddy.
