Shogun season two is in the works!
We finally got new updates on the status of the upcoming season, over six months after the last update.
FX has revealed the writers and directors for the new episodes, as well as which stars are returning, and who is joining the cast.
In addition, production will begin in January!
Season two will feature “a wholly original new chapter to the first season,” and takes place ten years after the events of season one.
Per Variety, the upcoming episodes continue “the historically-inspired saga of these two men from different worlds whose fates are inextricably entwined.”
