Matlock ended its first season with a very unexpected appearance, and we have Alfie (Aaron D. Harris) to thank for that. In the finale, Matty (Kathy Bates) and her family got the shock of their lives when a man claiming to be her grandson’s absent father showed up at their front door. This new character is portrayed by Sons of Anarchy alum Niko Nicotera, who also starred in the 2019 biopic Richard Jewell with Bates.
