“This is the last time I’ll ever be on this set. It’ll be torn down soon. It’s bittersweet, but my primary feeling is gratitude,” Eric wrote in the caption. “We have the best cast, the best crew, the most fun story to write, and something that is impossible to predict: the right timing. You wait your whole career to have maybe two of those things, if you’re lucky. We got all of them. To #TheBoys family: thank you, I love you all. To the fans: thanks for watching, can’t wait for you to see the grand finale. That’s a wrap. (Photo by @karenfukuhara). @theboystv @primevideo @sonypicturestv”
He also tagged several of the show’s stars, including Jensen Ackles, Jack Quaid, Chace Crawford, Erin Moriarty, Susan Heyward, Daveed Diggs, Karl Urban and more.
“Love you dude. Thank you for literally everything. ❤️❤️❤️” Jack commented on the post.
“I’m not crying. I’m not crying. I’m not crying. 🥹😭😭❤️❤️” Nate commented.
“Love you. Thank you. x 1000,” Erin wrote in the comments.
The series, based on the comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, “is a fun and irreverent take on what happens when superheroes—who are as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians, and as revered as gods—abuse their superpowers rather than use them for good.”
