Ed Kelce has experienced a very sad loss.
The father of Jason and Travis Kelce confirmed that his girlfriend, Maureen Maguire, died at age 74.
Ed shared the obituary on his personal Facebook page, which noted that she “passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones” and described her as a “devoted mother” with “impeccable taste.”

Ed was described as her “beloved friend.”
“She also grew an unexpected love for football later in life, sharing many laughs and adventures with her beloved friend Ed Kelce and her loyal dog Butch,” the Stretch Funeral Home obituary reads. “Together, they traveled often and attended football games and concerts, and embraced every opportunity to enjoy life to the fullest.”
“A natural hostess, she was famous for throwing the best parties, always full of warmth, laughter, and unforgettable food,” the message continued.
Ed previously shared that Maureen and Travis‘ girlfriend Taylor Swift had a funny interaction.
While Taylor posed for a picture with Ed, Maureen joked, “Hey, that’s my boyfriend,” which made Taylor laugh.
He also recalled a story involving Maureen and Taylor.
“When Travis has a lot of friends coming into town to go to the game, everyone meets at his house, although he’s not there,” Ed said to Audacy, adding that there can often be up to 20 there before a home game. “They have a shuttle that comes and picks everybody up and takes them to the game.”
Ed went on to say that he has probably met some of those in attendance “but cannot for the life of me picture, remember who they are.”
“And Taylor comes in, walks in with a security guard and I look at her … and I had my girlfriend with me and I mention to Maureen, ‘Oh, my God, I know this kid but I don’t know what her name is.’ Geez, you know, like a real idiot,” he continued.
“‘You don’t know her? This is Taylor Swift, you idiot.’ ”

Ed was married to Donna Kelce for 25 years after they tied the knot in the late ’70s.
Maureen leaves behind three children, six grandchildren and her brother and sister.
